In the summer of 2020, at the height of covid-19, the Directors of 5 Stars Trading and Living and Home donated 30,000 pcs Evereast Type IIR and 24,000 face masks to Harrogate District NHS Foundation Trust valued at £22,000.
The trust has expressed gratitude for the donation and its meaning to them. At the time, the safety restrictions within hospitals changed, and all members of staff and patients, both clinical and non-clinical, were now required to wear masks.
John Zhou, Managing Director of 5 Stars Trading, and Tony Chen, a Director of Living and Home, are strongly connected to the trust.

Gratitude to Councillor Bateman, who helped organize the donation. The masks meant the hospital could continue providing high-quality care to all its patients and give their families peace of mind that their loved ones are being protected.
